The flower preservation shadow box is the most complete way to display a wedding bouquet or memorial flowers. Your full arrangement — roses, foliage, gypsophila and all — is professionally dried, hand-arranged, and mounted behind glass in a deep shadow box frame that becomes a permanent centrepiece in your home.

Unlike a resin block or tealight where petals are cast into a single piece, the shadow box preserves the structure and scale of your original arrangement. Brides who want to see their full bouquet displayed as it was — not compressed or scattered, but arranged — choose the shadow box. It is our highest-value display piece and the one that most closely recreates what your flowers looked like on the day.

Sizes and Frames

Four sizes are available, all 4 inches deep to accommodate full flower heads and three-dimensional arrangements. Each is available in five frame finishes.

• 16 x 16 inch — suits a medium bouquet or a curated selection of your favourite stems. £300.
• 20 x 16 inch — our most popular size. Fits a full standard bridal bouquet with room for foliage and filler flowers. £400.
• 20 x 20 inch — for larger bouquets or arrangements where you want more breathing room around the display. £420.
• 30 x 20 inch — our largest size, suited to oversized bouquets, cascading arrangements, or where multiple flowers from different people are being combined into one display. £500.

Wedding and Memorial Flowers

The shadow box is chosen most often for wedding bouquet preservation, but we also create memorial shadow boxes for funeral flowers — particularly where a family wants to preserve a large arrangement or tribute as a complete display rather than individual keepsakes. Both are handled with the same care.

How It Works

Once you've ordered, send your flowers to us by Royal Mail Tracked as soon as possible after the event — ideally within 5–7 days. Every bloom is dried and prepared individually, then hand-arranged inside your chosen frame. You'll receive photos throughout the process and can share feedback before the box is sealed and finalised.

Please note: petals may occasionally come loose from the arrangement during transit once the finished piece is returned to you. The back of the frame unclips easily, allowing you to gently replace any displaced petals without disturbing the rest of the arrangement.

Colour Correction

Flowers naturally darken during the drying process — whites often warm to cream, and vivid colours may deepen. Where we feel a flower would benefit from it, we apply colour correction to bring the tone closer to the original. This is included as standard and we'll always use the best blooms from the selection you send.

What to Expect

Every shadow box is entirely unique to the flowers you send. No two arrangements are identical. The 4-inch depth gives us room to create a genuinely three-dimensional display rather than a flat pressed arrangement — this is what makes the shadow box feel so close to having the original bouquet in the room.
