What Happens to Your Flowers?
When flowers are dried, they naturally change.
Some blooms hold their colour beautifully. Others soften, fade, deepen, or transform entirely. This isn’t damage – it’s nature doing what it has always done when moisture leaves a petal.
Every flower reacts differently.
That’s why no two preservation pieces are ever the same.
Flowers That Dry Beautifully
Some flowers dry almost exactly as they were on your wedding day. Delphiniums, white and blue hydrangeas, and many roses often retain their shape and tone with very little change.

Flowers That Naturally Change
Other blooms – such as anthuriums, calla lilies, orchids, and lisianthus – undergo dramatic colour shifts when dried. Whites can turn ivory. Pinks may become champagne. Purples often dry blue. Reds can deepen to wine or burgundy.
This is completely natural and unavoidable.

We show these transformations openly so you know exactly what to expect.
Colour Enhancement – Optional & Thoughtful
For clients who wish to stay closer to their original palette, we offer gentle colour enhancement.
This is never heavy-handed. It is designed to:
- Restore warmth where petals cool
- Bring back blush tones
- Balance a bouquet’s overall harmony
Some flowers respond beautifully to enhancement. Others, like lisianthus, often look better left in their natural dried state as they are too delicate to correct without causing harm, we’ll always advise honestly.
